Interesting information. Don`t know much about this area but was told by a person who lived near there that the earth from the daylighting of the tunnel was used as fill for the new Greengate Mall.

Jim,I agree with you on the story of the tunnel collapsing in front of the westbound train. A few of the older engineers still working out of Conway Yard recall the collapse of the old tunnel.
